frequently asked questions
- How much is a Rocker?
The basic price is currently from £99 + delivery. How much delivery costs depends on where you are in the world, please see www.mafiabikes.com for details of delivery costs. Go to the rocker website and click on 'buy' & select your country, the price will be displayed in the checkout, don't worry this does not mean you have bought the bike just yet. If you are happy you can proceed.
- Please can I change the delivery address?
Yes, but there is an admin fee of £15 for us to carry out the appropriate checks.
- Do you ship to Australia?
Yes, please visit www.rockerbmx.com.au. Our new dedicated Australian site will be up and running very soon.
- When will the first Rocker BMX's be available to deliver to me?
We are expecting the 1st batch of Rocker BMX's to be in the UK ready for shipment to your door last week in May.
- I want to sell Rocker BMX in my shop, do you sell to trade customers?
- Where can I buy spares for Rocker BMX??
We will put spare parts and upgrades on www.mafiabike.com www.rockerbmx.com www.rockerbmx.com.au do not be concerned all parts will be made available and also many parts are standard BMX items
- Why does Rocker BMX have 1 piece cranks?
Because the cranks are very short and doing crazy drops to flat are unlikely, the 1 piece cranks are actually sufficient even for adult riders. That said we are bringing out 8T and 48T splined 3 piece cranks sets & USA to 19 mm converters for those who need that extra strength
- How BIIIGGGG???? are those bars?
BIG, they are 28" wide x 10" high
- I have seen other companies selling mini BMX that look like yours, why should I buy a Rocker BMX??
Simple, we are in fact predominantly a BMX company. We make and sell a lot of complete bikes and aftermarket parts. We have many riders who work for us & help design the products we sell. The only other complete mini BMX on sale (despite all of the brands you might see) was designed by a Chinese factory. The designer has never sat on a BMX, let alone ridden one, he simply bought a sample from Hell Trust in Indonesia (the Kate Bike) & had a go at copying it!! The biggest mistake he made was making the frame from aluminium. Aluminium is not good for a BMX frame as it cannot take the continuous impacts from learning tricks such as the hop whip. As a consumer it's entirely up to you which bike you choose e.g. you might prefer the colour of another brand. However, we designed the Rocker BMX from the ground up, we ride it, test it abuse & develop it & we have a patent pending for our rear hub design and we will file many more designs as we progress this sport & our products
- Do you do pegs?
Yes we have designed special hardened 4130 mini pegs for the Rocker BMX to work on our 12 mm axles. Normal pegs will not fit, they are far too big & too long. DO NOT buy scooter pegs as they are aluminium & no good for grinds nor will they fit our axles.
- Do you have stores in Australia?
We have our own import & distribution company Rocker BMX (AUS) PTY LTD in Australia. We will be selling online from www.rockerbmx.com.au and also trading the Rockers out to bikes / scooter shops that want to stock them. The bikes are due to go on sale within Australia in July this year, for now you can order from the UK.
